BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ.- A 25-year-old Hazlet, New Jersey, man, and local Ocean County drug dealer will be facing five years in New Jersey State Prison when sentenced later this year, after pleading guilty to a felony narcotics distribution offense.

According to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer, on Monday, October 6, 2025, Brandon Torsiello, 25, of Hazlet, New Jersey, appeared in Ocean County Superior Court and pleaded guilty before Superior Court Judge Guy P. Ryan to one count of Possession of More than One-Half Ounce but Less than Five Ounces of a Controlled Substance, Cocaine, in connection with an incident that occurred on March 6, 2025 in Brick Township, New Jersey.

In return for the guilty plea, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office will recommend that Torsiello be sentenced to a term of five years in New Jersey State Prison. Following entering his guilty plea, Judge Ryan accepted the plea and scheduled sentencing for December 5, 2025. At that time, Torsiello will be sentenced to the terms of the negotiated plea agreement.

Guilty Plea Stems From A December 2024 Incident

The guilty plea stems from an investigation that began on December 5, 2024, Investigators with the Brick Township Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit observed Torsiello participate in an activity consistent with a controlled dangerous substance transaction. As Torsiello exited the parking lot in his vehicle, Investigators conducted a motor vehicle stop on Torsiello’s vehicle.

During the motor vehicle stop, an Ocean County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit responded to the scene and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. Torsiello was taken into custody and transported to the Brick Township Police Department. During a subsequent search of Torsiello’s person, Investigators located quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine, Xanax, and suboxone. At that time, Torsiello was charged accordingly and remanded to the Ocean County Jail, and has remained in custody since that date.

On December 7, 2024, Investigators obtained and executed a court-authorized search of Torsiello’s vehicle and uncovered additional quantities of cocaine and other assorted controlled substances.
