ATLANTIC CITY, NJ.- A 30-year-old Atlantic City, New Jersey, man will be spending three years in New Jersey State Prison when sentenced early next year, after pleading guilty in connection with breaking into a motor vehicle and stealing cosmetics from inside the vehicle.

According to Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, Jomar Saez, 30, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, appeared in Atlantic County Superior Court and pleaded guilty before Superior Court Judge Joseph Levin to one count of third-degree Burglary.

Judge Levin Scheduleds Saez To Be Sentemnced In February 2026

In return for the guilty plea, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office will recommend that Saez be sentenced to three years in State Prison. Following entering his guilty plea, Judge Levin accepted the plea and scheduled sentencing for February 27, 2025.

The guilty plea stems from an incident that began on July 11, 2025, when members of the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a report of a motor vehicle burglary that had occurred inside the parking garage of the Tropicana Casino and Hotel. Upon arrival, Police Officers located the victims, who informed them that they had returned to their vehicle and found items missing from the trunk, including a zebra-print suitcase that contained approximately $500 worth of cosmetics.

During the initial investigation, Police Officers recovered video surveillance footage depicting the suspect, later identified as Saez, walking away from the area of the vehicle carrying the zebra-print suitcase. Police Officers quickly located and apprehended Saez in the area of South Chelsea and Pacific Avenues in the City. Saez was still in possession of the zebra-print suitcase at the time of his apprehension.
