Paterson Man Struck By Gunfire Friday Night In The City Of Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- Detectives of the Paterson Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Unit and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding a shooting that occurred Friday night in the Eastside neighborhood of the City of Paterson, New Jersey.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Friday, November 21, 2025, just shortly before 9:30 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Broadway and Summer Street in the City of Paterson.
Police Officers Find Paterson Man Shot
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a shooting crime scene and a 56-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, man, suffering from multiple non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he underwent treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been reported, as Detectives continue the search for the gunman and a motive for the shooting.
