Jamestown Woman Arrested On A Federal Methamphetamine Offense

BUFFALO, NY.- Last Wednesday, a 23-year-old Jamestown, New York, woman is facing up to 20 years in federal prison after being federally charged with a controlled dangerous substance offense.

     According to U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo, on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Micayla L. Blair, 23, of Jamestown, New York, was charged by federal criminal complaint with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine. Blair made her initial appearance in Federal Court in Buffalo, New York, and was ordered detained by U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael J. Roemer.

According To The Charging Information Filed In The Complaint

     According to the charging information filed in the criminal complaint, on October 30, 2025, during an ongoing State of New York narcotics investigation, Investigators executed a court-authorized search warrant at a Williams Street residence in Jamestown, New York, connected to Blair. She was initially charged with New York State narcotics offenses and later federally charged. 

     During the search, Investigators located and seized a quantity of suspected crystal methamphetamine, numerous items of drug paraphernalia consistent with narcotics distribution, and a handgun.

     U.S. Attorney DiGiacomo commended the investigative work of the Jamestown Police Department, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Chautauqua Sheriff’s Office for the investigation that led to the arrest and detention of Blair.

“The rules of the court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
