Police Asking For The Public’s Help In Locating A Suspect In Northwest, D.C., Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC.- The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with allegedly shooting a man during an altercation earlier this month in Northwest, D.C.
According to Interim D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Jeffery W. Carroll, on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at around 5:45 a.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a shooting on the 2000 Block of 14th Street in Northwest, D.C.
Upon arrival, Responding Police Officers located a male victim, having sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was transported by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services to a nearby hospital for treatment.
During the initial investigation, Detectives determined that before the shooting, the victim and the suspect were involved in a physical altercation inside an establishment. Following the altercation, the suspect left the store, and when the victim left the store, the suspect approached him and shot him. The suspect was captured on video surveillance and can be seen in the video above.
