PHILADELPHIA, PA.- A 66-year-old Warminster, Pennsylvania, man and child predator, formally employed as a middle school teacher, will be facing up to five decades in federal prison when sentenced next year after pleading guilty on Monday to federal child pornography offenses.

According to U.S. Attorney David Metcalf, on Monday, December 22, 2025, Richard Adamsky, 66, of Warminster, Pennsylvania, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and pleaded guilty before U.S. District Court Judge Gerald J. Pappert to federal information charging him with one count of Receipt and Attempted Receipt of Child Pornography; and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.

Following entering his guilty plea, Judge Pappert accepted the plea and deferred sentencing for a date and time to be determined by the District Court. When sentenced, Adamsky faces a maximum of 30 years in federal prison on the charge of receipt of child pornography and a maximum of up to 20 years in federal prison on the charge of possession of child pornography. Adamsky would also be required to serve at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release upon release from prison.

At sentencing, a U.S. District Court Judge will determine the term of imprisonment based on the seriousness of the offenses and Adamsky’s prior criminal history. Adansky will also be required to register as a sex offender in the national database.

According To Chargiung Documents Filed With The District Court

According to court documents, Adamsky was indicted in September 2025 for knowingly receiving a media file depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of a child on or about June 15, 2025. Additionally, Adamsky possessed two computers and two flash drives containing child pornography, including digital images and media files depicting prepubescent children engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
