PISCATAWAY, NJ.- The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Piscataway Police Department are continuing the investigation into a two-vehicle collision that occurred Friday afternoon, which claimed the life of a 62-year-old Piscataway, New Jersey, man.

According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, on Friday, December 26, 2025, members of the Piscataway Police Department responded to 911 Emergency Calls reporting a serious vehicle collision with injuries on Suttons Lane near Rockefeller Road in Piscataway.

Upon arrival, Responding Police Officers located a 2003 Toyota Sequoia that had collided with a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. During the initial investigation, Police Officers determined that the Toyota, driven by Terry King, 62, of Piscataway, New Jersey, was traveling North on Suttons Lane when he crossed the double yellow line and collided head-on with the Chrysler, driven by a 52-year-old man from Edison, New Jersey. The Chrysler was occupied by the driver’s wife and four children.

The driver and passengers of the 2018 Chrysler were all transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Mr. King was also transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where, despite life-saving efforts, Mr. King succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased later that day.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is urged to contact Police Traffic Investigator Mark Chanley of the Piscataway Police Department at (732) 562-7652 or Detective James Alleva of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office at (732) 745-4011.
