Man & Woman Found Dead Inside A Wildwood Crest Home On Wednesday

WILDWOOD CREST, NJ.- Detectives of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office and the Wildwood Police Department are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths of a man and a woman who were found dead on Wednesday, inside a Wildwood Crest residence.

     According to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, members of the Wildwood Crest Police Department were dispatched to a home located on the 300 Block of East Atlanta Avenue in the Borough, where they discovered the lifeless bodies of a man and a woman.

     Following the discovery of the deceased individuals, a joint investigation was launched. The identities of the deceased individuals are not being released at this time. 

     No further information was available at the time of this publication, but the Prosecutor’s Office has reported that there is no threat to the public and that further details will be released upon the conclusion of the investigation.
