ALEXANDRIA, NJ.- A 34-year-old Alexandria. New Jersey, and a self-proclaimed child predator will be spending the next three years in New Jersey State Prison, after being sentenced last Monday for possessing digital images and video files depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of children.

According to Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renee M. Robeson, on Monday, January 12, 2026, Eduardo M. Duran-Carrasco, 34, of Alexandria Township, New Jersey, appeared in Hunterdon County Superior Court and was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Christopher J. Garrenger to 3 years in State Prison after previously pleading guilty to second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child for Possession of Child Pornography.

In handing down the sentence, Judge Garrenger additionally ordered Duran-Carrasco to be subject to parole supervision for life and register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law registration requirements.

During the search, Investigators and Police Officers uncovered media files containing child pornography. At that time, Duran-Carrasco was taken into custody and formally charged.

Duran-Carrasco was additionally charged in Middlesex County Superior Court in New Brunswick, New Jersey, with one count of second-degree possession of child pornography. He pleaded guilty to the charge after both cases were consolidated in Hunterdon County Superior Court.
