East Orange Man Pleads Guilty To Multiple Federal Child Pornography Offenses

NEWARK, NJ.- On Thursday, a 29-year-old East Orange, New Jersey, man, and self-admitted child predator, learned he could be facing spending at least three decades and up to 80 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to multiple federal counts of child sexual enticement and possessing digital images and video files depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of prepubescent children.
According to U.S. Senior Counsel Philip Lamparello, on Thursday, January 29, 2026, Abdur-Razzaaq Henderson, 29, of East Orange, New Jersey, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and pleaded guilty before U.S. District Court Judge Katharine S. Hayden to federal information charging him with two counts of Production of Child Pornography; and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
Following entering his guilty plea on Wednesday, Judge Hayden accepted the plea and scheduled sentencing for a date and time to be determined by the District Court. At the time of sentencing, Henderson will face a on each of the production of child pornography charges an mandatory minimum of fifteen years and up to 30 years in federal prison, at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release, and a fine of up to $500,000. On the charge of possession of child pornography, Henderson faces a mandatory minimum of five years and up to 20 years in federal prison, at least four years and up to a lifetime of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000.
According to the charging information filed with the District Court, in April 2023 and July 2023, respectively, Henderson texted with two children residing outside of New Jersey. On both occasions, at Henderson’s direction, the children created and texted him videos of themselves engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Additionally, Henderson engaged the second child in a conversation about sexually assaulting a younger sibling.
On March 5, 2024, law enforcement investigators found Henderson in possession of a cellular phone that contained a hidden folder. In the hidden folder, investigators uncovered multiple video files depicting child pornography.
During his plea allocution, Henderson admitted and took responsibility for coercing, enticing, and persuading seven additional children to produce sexually explicit digital images and video files.
   U.S. Senior Counsel Lamparello commended the Federal Bureau of Investigation for the investigation that led to Henderson’s apprehension and Thursday’s guilty plea.Â
