 30-Year-Old Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Gunfire Friday Night In Voorhees Township

VOORHEES TOWNSHIP, NJ.- Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay reported that Detectives of the Camden County Major Crimes Unit and the Voorhees Township Police Department are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding a Friday late-night shooting that left a 30-year-old man hospitalized.

     According to Authorities, on Friday, May 17, 2024, shortly after 11:00 p.m., members of the Voorhees Township Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 73 and Cooper Road in the Township.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found the crash, and while assessing the injuries of the occupants of the vehicles, Police Officers discovered that one of the drivers of a vehicle, a 30-year-old man was suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital, where as of Monday the man was reported to be at the hospital.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made.
