BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ.- Yesterday, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw reported that a 35-year-old Burlington Township, New Jersey, man was taken into custody and jailed after being formally charged with child pornography offenses.
Gregory Chesko, 35, of Burlington Township, was formally charged with second-degree Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material; second-degree Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material; and third-degree Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material.
Chesko was taken into custody on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at his Burlington Township, New Jersey residence. Following being processed on the charges, Chesko was remanded to the Burlington County Jail pending future court proceedings in Burlington County Superior Court in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
The charges stem from an investigation that began when Detectives of the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office High-Tech Crimes Unit received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding Chesko’s online internet activities. Following a court-authorized search warrant and the seizure of electronic devices revealed that Chesko was using the internet to view, download, distribute, and possess digital images of nude and sexually explicit children.
“The rules of the court require us to include a statement that states the charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
