45-Year-Old South River Man Indicted On Charges For Sexually Assaulting 2 Children 20 Years Ago

KEANSBURG, NJ.- A Grand Jury sitting in Monmouth County, New Jersey, has returned an indictment against a former Keansburg, New Jersey man charging him for sexually assaulting two preteen girls that occurred over 20 years ago.
   According to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Julia Alonso, the Grand Jury returned an indictment against Robert Wisiak, 45, of South River, New Jersey, on two counts of first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault.
The indictment is a result of an investigation that began in 2023 when Detectives of the Keansburg Police Department and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office uncovered that Wisiak had sexually assaulted a child who was under the age of thirteen on multiple occasions between the years of 1999-2001, in Keansburg, New Jersey.
Following the investigation, Wisiak was taken into custody and formally charged by detectives of the Keansburg Police Department on Friday, October 20, 2023.
Following Wisiak’s arrest, a second victim came forward and reported that they were sexually assaulted by Wisiak during the same time period when they were under the age of thirteen on multiple occasions in Keansburg, New Jersey.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
