32-Year-Old Lindenwold Man Charged For The June 28, 2024, Camden Shooting Death Of Donald Green

CAMDEN, NJ.- Yesterday, a 32-year-old Lindenwold, New Jersey, man was apprehended following being charged late last week in connection with the June 28, 2024, late-night shooting death of a 43-year-old Camden, New Jersey man.
According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, following an investigation, on Friday, July 26, 2024, Allan Watson, 32, of Lindenwold, was charged with first-degree Murder; second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and second-degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose.
On Monday, July 29, 2024, Watson was located and taken into custody in Westville, New Jersey, by United States Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force-Camden Division marshals. Watson was processed on the charges and was remanded to Camden County Jail pending future court proceedings in Camden County Superior Court.
The charges stem from an investigation that unfolded on Friday, June 28, 2024, when shortly after 11:30 p.m., members of the Camden County Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter activation for gunfire on the 1000 Block of Liberty Street in the City of Camden.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Donald Green, 43, of Camden, New Jersey, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Green was immediately transported by Camden County Police Officers to Cooper University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased a short time later.
An investigation by Detectives of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Camden County Police Department was able to identify Watson as the shooter and the individual responsible for the death of Mr. Green.
