WILLINGBORO, NJ.- Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw reported, on Friday, a 24-year-old Willingboro, New Jersey, man was taken into custody and charged in connection with the distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material.

Aaron C. Minor was formally charged with second-degree Distribution of Child Pornography; second-degree Possession of Child Pornography with the Intent to Distribute; and third-degree Possession of Child Pornography.

Minor was taken into custody on Friday, August 9, 2024, during the execution of a court-authorized search warrant at his Willingboro, New Jersey residence. Following being processed on the charges, Minor made his first appearance and was released pending future court proceedings in Burlington County Superior Court I Mount Holly, New Jersey.

The charges stem from an investigation that began when the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit received a referral from the New Jersey State Police after the State Police received a cyber tip about Minor’s online activities from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

During the execution of the search warrant, Detectives seized multiple electronic devices, and an initial examination of the devices uncovered digital images and videos depicting nude and sexually explicit children. The electronic devices will undergo a complete forensic analysis.

The case will be prepared for presentation to a Burlington County Grand Jury for possible indictment on the charges. If an indictment is returned and Minor is convicted on the charges, he could face a potential New Jersey State Prison term of up to ten years.

“The rules of the court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
