15-Year-Old Morris Township, New Jersey Girl Who Was Missing Since July 27, 2024, Found Safe Last Night

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ.- Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll reported that the 15-year-old Morris Township, New Jersey girl who was reported missing and last seen on Saturday, July 27, 2024, was found safe last night in North Carolina.

     Shoshana Acevedo was located unharmed on an interstate Amtrack Train traveling through North Carolina.

      Morris County Authorities had previously sought the public’s assistance in locating Shoshana. Following up on a lead, they determined that Shoshana was on an interstate train heading south.

     Detectives of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Missing Persons Unit contacted Police Officers in North Carolina, who located the girl on the train, unharmed, and took her into protective custody until she is reunited with her family.
