38-Year-Old Fairview Woman Charged With Physically Assaulting A Teenager Under 16, In Mid-July

FAIRVIEW, NJ.- On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, a 38-year-old Fairview, New Jersey woman was taken into custody and jailed following being charged in connection with the July 11, 2024, physical assault of a teenager in Fairview, New Jersey.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Friday, July 12, 2024, the Fairview Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit after Police Officers received a report regarding an allegation that a teen had been physically abused.
An investigation by Detectives of the Bergen County Special Victims Unit and the Fairview Police Department determined that on Thursday, July 11, 2024, Cassandra M. Gianotti, 38, of Fairview, physically assaulted a teenager who is under the age of sixteen in Fairview, New Jersey.
Accordingly, on Tuesday, August 13, 2020, Gianotti was taken into custody at the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office in Paramus, New Jersey, and was formally charged with one count of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
After being processed on the charge, Gianotti was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending future court proceedings in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
