Camden County Authorities Are Actively Investigating Last Night’s Shooting Death Of A Pine Hill Man

PINE HILL, NJ.- Detectives of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Pine Hill Police Department are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a 27-year-old Pine Hill, New Jersey, who was shot inside a Pine Hill residence late Monday night.

According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, on Monday, August 19, 2024, just shortly after 9:30 p.m., members of the Pine Hill Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting an individual being shot inside a residence located on the Unit Block of Hancock Lane in Pine Hill.
Upon arrival, Police Officers entered the home and found a man, later identified as Justin Ezeiruaka, 27, of Pine Hill, inside the house, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Ezeiruaka was immediately transported by Emergency Medical Services personnel to Cooper University Hospital, where, despite life-saving efforts by doctors, he was pronounced deceased just before 3:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Detectives continue to search for a suspect.
