Cape May County Authorities Actively Investigation Of A Man Who Was Found Dead Early Monday Morning

CAPE MAY, NJ.- Today, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland reported that Detectives of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office and the Cape May Police Department are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was found early Monday morning.
During the morning hours of Monday, August 26, 2024, Patrol Officers from the Cape May Police Department discovered the body of a 50-year-old man at Cove Beach, near the end of Beach Drive.
Detectives from the Prosecutor’s Office and the Cape May Police Department immediately responded to the scene and are actively investigating.
Prosecutor Sutherland stated that this is a non-suspicious death, and there is no danger or threat to the public. The preliminary investigation revealed that no foul play was involved.
