Camden County Detectives Actively Investigating Friday Afternoon’s Fatal Shooting

CAMDEN, NJ.- Detectives of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit are actively investigating a shooting that killed a man after he was gunned down Friday afternoon on a Camden, New Jersey street.
According To Prosecutor MacAulay
According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, on Friday, September 6, 2024, shortly after 2:30 p.m., members of the Camden County Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter activation reporting multiple shots on the 2500 Block of South 8th Street in the City of Camden.
   Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Jajuan Flores, 21, of Camden, New Jersey, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Flores was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital, where, despite life-saving measures, he tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased 30 minutes later.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Flores.
