Rochester Woman Sentenced To Prison For Maintaining Drug House

ROCHESTER, NY.- On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Danielle Hampton, 51, of Rochester, New York, appeared in U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr., to 24 months in federal prison for her conviction by a federal jury on the charge of Maintaining a Drug-Involved Premises.
According to U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross, in September 2021, investigators of the Greater Rochester Area Narcotics Enforcement Team began investigating illicit drug trafficking activities from a house located at 304 Adams Street in Rochester, New York.
During the investigation, investigators made several controlled purchases of cocaine from the residence.
Following a two-month investigation, on November 18, 2024, investigators executed a court-authorized search warrant at the 304 Adams Street residence. During the search, investigators encountered Hampton inside the home. Also, during the search, investigators found a loaded firearm, around 9 grams of “crack cocaine,” $571.00 in cash in denominations consistent with narcotics sales, and drug paraphernalia. Investigators also encountered two minor children inside the home.
Following the search, Hampton was taken into custody and formally charged.
U.S. Attorney Ross commended the Greater Rochester Area Narcotics Enforcement Team’s investigative efforts in investigating and prosecuting Hampton.
