HARRISBURG, PA.- On Thursday, October 10, 2024, Sterling Crumblin, 34, of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, appeared in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Jennifer P. Wilson to 120 months in federal prison for Methamphetamine Trafficking.

According to U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam, Crumblin had previously appeared in U.S. District Court and pleaded guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute 500 Grams or More of Methamphetamine.

According to documents filed with the court, on November 15, 2021, Troopers of the Pennsylvania State Police conducted a motor vehicle traffic stop on Crumblin’s vehicle as he was driving through Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

During the traffic stop, Pennsylvania State Troopers obtained a court-authorized search warrant for Crumblin’s vehicle. During the subsequent search, troopers discovered more than a kilogram of methamphetamine and a stolen handgun. Following the search, Crumblin was taken into custody and charged, resulting in Crumblin’s guilty plea and Thursday’s federal prison sentence.
