D.C. Metropolitan Police Searching For Suspect Who Snatched Cell Phone & Fled

WASHINGTON, DC.- On Thursday, October 17, 2024, D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith reported that the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in connection with Wednesday afternoon’s robbery in Northwest, D.C.
On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, shortly before 2:30 p.m., the suspect approached the victim on the 1400 Block of Park Road in Northwest, D.C. The suspect then snatched the victim’s cell phone and ran away. A picture of the suspect was captured by area video surveillance footage.
