Southeast D.C. Man Was Fatal Gunned Down Monday Afternoon

WASHINGTON, DC.- Detectives of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old Southeast, D.C. man who was found dead yesterday afternoon on Bruce Place in Southeast, D.C.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, just shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024, members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a shooting with injuries on the 2700 Block of Bruce Place in Southeast, D.C.
Police Find Victim Dead
Upon arrival, Police Officers and First Responders found a man, later identified as Malkijah Clark, 21, of Southeast, D.C., unresponsive, having succumbed from multiple gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel pronounced Mr. Clark deceased at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made, as Detectives continue the search for the gunman.
