Parlin Woman & Monroe Woman Both Charged With Voter Fraud

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ.- Today, November 1, 2024, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone reported Detectives have charged two Middlesex County, New Jersey women in unrelated cases of voter fraud.
Lori Mulligan, 58, of Parlin, New Jersey, was taken into custody and charged with one count of third-degree Fraudulently Voting by Mail. Authorities allege that Mulligan voted in the name of a dead family member.
In a separate investigation, Katherine Fokas, 57, of Monroe, New Jersey, was taken into custody and charged with one count of third-degree Submission of a Forged Application for a Mail-in Ballot. It is alleged that Fokas submitted the forged application on behalf of a deceased family member. Fokas was additionally charged with one count of third-degree Criminal Impersonation and third-degree Forgery.
The Prosecutor’s Office indicated that the investigation began with a tip from the Middlesex County Board of Elections. Both investigations remain active and ongoing.
