Detectives Actively Investigating Yesterday Afternoon’s Stabbing Death

CHERRY HILL, NJ.- A Sunday afternoon altercation inside a Cherry Hill apartment turns violent, leaving a 28-year-old Cherry Hill, New Jersey man dead from a stab wound.

     According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, on Sunday, November 3, 2024, just shortly before 5:30 p.m., members of the Cherry Hill Police Department responded to a report of a man having been stabbed at the Waterford Apartments located at 100 Park Boulevard in Cherry Hill.

Responding Police Officers Find Man Dead

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, identified as Harrison Guttman, 28, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, unresponsive from an apparent fatal stab wound. Mr. Guttman was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.

     During the initial investigation, Detectives of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and the Cherry Hill Police Department determined that Mr. Guttman had been stabbed during an altercation.

     Detectives have identified all individuals involved in the altercation. At this stage of the investigation, no criminal charges have been filed.
