Paterson Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Gunfire This Morning

PATERSON, NJ.- Police are searching for the suspect in today’s shooting that left a 46-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, man hospitalized after he was struck by gunfire in the downtown section of the City of Paterson.

     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Monday, November 4, 2024, shortly after 8:30 a.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting shots fired in the area of Main and Arch Streets in the City.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a shooting crime scene and a 46-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. 

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Detectives continue the search for the gunman.
