Farrell Man Sentenced To Over 15 Years In Prison For Drug Trafficking

PITTSBURGH, PA.- On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Cleo Johnson, 33, of Farrell, Pennsylvania, appeared in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Cathy Bissoon to 188 months in federal prison to be followed by six years of supervised release for his previously entered guilty plea to Cocaine Trafficking within 1,000 Feet of Public Housing Property.
According to U.S. Attorney Eric G. Olshan and charging information filed with the District Court. Johnson engaged in a months-long scheme to distribute quantities of cocaine and fentanyl in 2021.
Johnson’s illicit narcotics trafficking was conducted near a public housing complex within the view and in and around children. Johnson has had several prior convictions and prison sentences for drug trafficking, firearms, and assault crimes throughout the twelve years preceding his 2021 drug trafficking activities.
