Man Succumbs To Injuries Following Being Shot Wednesday In Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC.- Metropolitan Police are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a 28-year-old Southeast, D.C., man who succumbed to his injuries on Friday after he was gunned down Wednesday night on Southeast, D.C. Street.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, just shortly before 7:30 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting shots fired on the 5500 Block of B Street in Southeast, D.C.
Victim Dies From Injuries On Friday
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, identified as Christopher Robinson, 28, of Southeast, D.C., suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds. Mr. Robinson was immediately transported by DC Fire and Emergency Services to a nearby hospital, where, despite life-saving efforts by doctors, Mr. Robinson tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on Friday, November 22, 2024.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Detectives are continuing to search for the gunman.
The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect responsible for the shooting death of Mr. Robinson. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a $25,000 reward for anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the shooting death of Mr. Robinson.
