Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Gunfire In Red Bank, New Jersey

RED BANK, NJ.- Detectives are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding an early Saturday morning shooting in Red Bank that left a 34-year-old Long Branch, New Jersey man hospitalized from a gunshot wound.
According to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago, on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at around 1:48 a.m., members of the Red Bank Police Department responded to reports of gunfire on St. Mary’s Place just off of Shrewsbury Avenue in Red Bank.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found shell casings and evidence of a crime scene but were unable to locate a shooting victim. While canvassing the area, the Red Bank Police Department was contacted that a 34-year-old Long Branch, New Jersey, man had been admitted to a local hospital for a gunshot wound to his upper leg.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time as Detectives continue to search for a suspect.
