Maryland Man Stabbed To Death Sunday Night In Northwest, D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC.- Detectives are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a 25-year-old Takoma Park, Maryland, man that occurred Sunday afternoon in Northwest, D.C.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at around 5:30 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District responded to a report of a stabbing on the 1700 Block of Columbia Road in Northwest, D.C.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a man, later identified as Malik Lee, 25, of Takoma Park, Maryland, in a rear alley of a building, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Mr. Lee was immediately transported by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services to a nearby hospital, where, despite life-saving efforts by doctors, Mr. Lee tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
