Southeast, D.C. Man Shot Dead Wednesday Night On Stanton Road

WASHINGTON, DC.- The Metropolitan Police Department is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of an 18-year-old Southeast, D.C. man that occurred Wednesday night in Southeast, D.C.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at approximately 6:43 p.m., members of the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District responded to a residential building located on the 2600 Block of Stanton Road in Southeast, D.C. on a report of a shooting incident.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, identified as Terrell Oliver, 18, of Southeast, D.C., unresponsive from multiple inside the building. Mr. Oliver was pronounced deceased at the scene by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as police continue to search for the gunman.
