BRIDGEPORT, CT.- On Friday, December 20, 2024, Nicolas Brown, also known as “Breezy,” 28, of New York, New York, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and pleaded guilty to one count of Production of Child Pornography; and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
According to U.S. Attorney Vanessa Roberts Avery and charging documents filed with the District Court, on multiple occasions in March 2024, Brown arranged Uber ride-share trips to pick up one to three teenage girls, two of whom were under the age of eighteen, from a Connecticut state-run group home and deliver them to various Connecticut hotels and shopping malls where he engaged in sexual relations with one of the minor girls.
On one occasion, an Uber trip that Brown arranged took two minors to meet him at the Bridgeport train station. Brown and the two minors then traveled to Manhattan and a hotel in South Hackensack, New Jersey, where they stayed for several days.
Following An Investigation Brown Was Taken Into Custody
On March 20, 2024, Brown was located at a hotel in Danbury, Connecticut, and taken into custody on Connecticut state charges. An iPhone seized from Brown at the time of his arrest revealed video files depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of children, including videos he recorded engaging in sexual conduct with the minor girl.
After pleading guilty, Brown was ordered detained, where he has been since his March 20, 2024 arrest. If convicted of the charges, Brown faces a mandatory minimum of fifteen years and up to 30 years in federal prison.
U.S. Attorney Avery thanked the State’s Attorney’s Office for the Judicial District of Danbury for cooperating in investigating and prosecuting Brown.
