Schenectady Man Pleads Guilty To Methamphetamine Distribution

ALBANY, NY.- On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Patrick Tucker, 28, of Schenectady, New York, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York and pleaded guilty to one count of Distribution of Methamphetamine.
According to U.S. Attorney Carla B. Freedman and documents filed in the District Court, during Wednesday’s plea allocution, Tucker admitted to distributing around 49 grams of methamphetamine on three separate occasions between January and March of 2023.
Tucker Faces Up To 40 Years In Prison When Sentenced
When sentenced at a time and date to be determined by the court, Tucker faces a mandatory minimum of 60 months and up to 40 years in federal prison, at least four years and up to life of supervised release, and a fine of up to $5 million.
At sentencing, a U.S. District Court Judge will determine the actual term of imprisonment based on the seriousness of the offense and Tucker’s prior criminal history, if any.
