Suspect Sought In Saturday Morning Southeast Armed Robbery

WASHINGTON, DC.- The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is actively searching for the suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Saturday morning in a Southeast, D.C. parking lot.

     According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Saturday, January 18, 2025, around 9:00 a.m., Southeast District Police Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery on the 1500 Block of Alabama Avenue in Southeast, D.C.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers were informed by the victim that while in the parking lot, the suspect approached them, pulled out a firearm, and demanded money and property from inside their vehicle. The victim complied and the suspect fled the area.

     The suspect was captured by surveillance video camera footage and can be seen in the above photo.
