ELKINS, W.VA.- On Thursday, February 6, 2025, Devonna Nicole Moul, 30, of Buckhannon, West Virginia, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia and was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Court Judge Thomas S. Kleeh to 56 months in federal prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, after pleading guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.

According to Acting U.S. Attorney Randolph J. Bernard and charging documents filed with the District Court, during an investigation into illicit narcotics distribution in the Elkins, West Virginia, area, law enforcement investigators identified Moul, also known as “Devonna Nicole Keyser,” as a methamphetamine trafficker, who distributed quantities of methamphetamine throughout Elkins, West Virginia.

In handing down the sentence on Thursday, Judge Kleeh noted Moul’s extensive criminal history, including convictions for drug crimes, escape, and evading law enforcement.

Acting U.S. Attorney Bernard commended the investigative work of the Mountain Region Drug Task Force and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
