Belvidere Man Sentenced For Child Sexual Exploitation

SCRANTON, PA.- A 36-year-old Belvidere, New Jersey, child predator will be spending the next 15 years of his life in federal prison after being sentenced for enticing a 13-year-old girl to engage in sexually explicit conduct only to learn that when there was a knock at his New Jersey home the young girl was actually an uncover investigator.
On Monday, February 10, 2025, Mitchell Inscho, 36, of Belvidere, New Jersey, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Karoline Mehalchick to 180 months in federal prison for his conviction on the charge of Attempted Online Enticement of a Minor.
According To The U.S. Attorney’s Office
According to Acting U.S. Attorney John C. Gurganus and documents filed with the District Court, beginning in July 2023 and lasting through October 26, 2023, Inscho utilized the internet and his cellular phone to request an individual who believed was a 13-year-old child to engage in sexually explicit conduct, and to produce digital images of child sexual abuse material.
During that three-month period, on multiple occasions, Inscho sent obscene photographs of himself to the purported child through a social media platform.
On March 13, 2024, federal agents with Homeland Security Investigations obtained and executed a court-authorized search warrant at Inscho’s home in Belvidere, New Jersey. During the search, agents seized his cellular phone and computer. A subsequent forensic examination of those devices uncovered around 150 digital images depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of children.
