D.C. Police Charge Man For November 2024 Northwest Stabbing

WASHINGTON, DC.- On Thursday, a 20-year-old Northwest, D.C. man was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with a violent stabbing that occurred on November 20, 2024, on Langley Court in Northwest, D.C.

     According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, just minutes after 12:00 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District responded to a report of a stabbing on the 3900 Block of Langley Court in Northwest, D.C.

Police Officers Find Victim Stabbed

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was immediately transported by DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening stab wounds and has been released and continues to recover at home.

     During the initial investigation, Responding Police Officers learned that during an apparent verbal altercation, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene, leaving the victim critically injured at the location.

Detectives Identify Kah As Suspect

     Following an ensuing investigation by Detectives, Isatou Kah, 20, of Northwest, D.C., was identified as the assailant, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On Thursday, February 27, 2025, Kha was located and taken into custody pursuant to a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant and formally charged with Aggravated Assault while Armed.

     Kah was processed on the charge and was remanded to the D.C. Central Detention Facility, pending future court proceedings in the District of Columbia Superior Court.
