Man Found Dead Last Saturday At Ross Dock In Fort Lee

FORT LEE, NJ.- Detectives of the Bergen County Major Crimes Unit and the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 25-year-old New York man whose lifeless body was found at Ross Dock in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, shortly before 11:00 a.m., members of the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department responded to Ross Dock in Fort Lee after receiving a report of an unresponsive man.
Police Find The Lifeless Body Of Jairo Lopez-Lopez
Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered the body of a man along the shoreline. Detectives have identified the man as Jairo Lopez-Lopez, 25, of Hempstead, New York.
As of today, Detectives have been unable to locate or make contact with Mr. Lopez-Lopez’s next of kin. The investigation remains active and ongoing. Anyone with information about Mr. Lopez-Lopez may contact the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Tips Line at (201) 226-5532.
