Teen Struck By Gunfire Sunday Night In The City Of Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized after gunfire erupted Sunday night on Rosa Parks Boulevard in the City of Paterson, New Jersey.

     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Sunday, March 9, 2025, shortly before 8:00 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a report of gunfire on Rosa Parks Boulevard near Ellison Street in the City of Paterson.

Police Find Teen Shot

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 14-year-old boy suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The teen was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. During the initial investigation, responding Police Officers found evidence of a shooting crime scene at the location.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Police continue the search for a suspect and a motive for the shooting.
