IRVINGTON, NJ.- Essex County Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding a Sunday Late Night Shooting, that left a 27-Year-Old Irvington, New Jersey man Dead and Two other men Hospitalized.
According to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, on Sunday, February 11, 2024, just shortly before 9:30 p.m., Members of The Irvington Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting an Alleged Shooting on The 200 Block of Isabella Avenue in Irvington.

Upon arrival, Police Officers found Three Men outside at that location, Two with Gunshot Wounds, and One with an Injured Leg. All Three were transported to University Hospital, where Damian Thompson, 27, of Irvington, New Jersey succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased two hours later. The other two men were treated for Non-Life Threatening Injuries, their condition is unknown at this time.
