Man Struck By Gunfire Early Saturday Morning In The City Of Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- A 28-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, man remains hospitalized after gunfire erupted early Saturday morning on Front Street as gun violence continues to plague the City of Paterson.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Saturday, April 19, 2025, just shortly after 1:45 a.m., responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Front Street and Preakness Avenue in the City of Paterson.
Police Find Man Shot On The Street
Upon arrival, Responding Police Officers found a 28-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was immediately transported by Paterson Fire and Emergency Medical Services to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. The man’s condition is unknown at this time. During the initial investigation, Police Officers found evidence of a shooting crime scene at the location.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Detectives continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
