
27-YEAR-OLD RUNNEMEDE SUBSTITUTE TEACHER CHARGED FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL

BROWNS MILLS, NJ.- A 27-Year-Old Browns Mills, New Jersey woman who is Employed as a Substitute Teacher with The Runnemede Public School District was Taken into Custody on Monday and Formally Charged with Sexually Assaulting a 14-Year-Old Girl over a Four-Year-Span.
According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, Rebecca Coddington, 27, of Browns Mills, New Jersey was Formally Charged with Two Counts of First Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; Six Counts of Second Degree Sexual Assault; Two Counts of Third Degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact; and Two Counts of Third Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
The Charges stem from an investigation when Detectives of The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and The Gloucester Township Police Department received information that a 14-Year-Old Girl had been Sexually Assaulted Multiple Times by Ms. Coddington at a Private Residence in Gloucester Township beginning in September 2019, until December 29, 2023.
After interviewing multiple witnesses, including the Female Victims, Detectives determined there was evidence of Sex Crimes committed against the Child. Accordingly, on Monday, February 5, 2024, Ms. Coddington was Taken into Custody by Members of The Gloucester Township Police Department. After being Processed on The Charges, Coddington was Remanded to The Camden County Correctional Facility pending a Detention Hearing, which has been Scheduled for tomorrow, February 9, 2024, in Camden County Superior Court.
