U.S. MARSHALS APPREHEND A CAMDEN CITY MAN IN CONNECTION WITH THE NOVEMBER 9 2023 CAMDEN SHOOTING DEATH

   “Lisandro Gomez Was Taken Into Custody Last Friday & Charged For The November 9, 2023 Shooting Death Of Victor Lebron.”

CAMDEN, NJ.- A 26-Year-Old Camden City man Wanted for The November 9, 2023, Fatal Shooting of a 26-Year-Old Sicklerville, New Jersey man, was Apprehended Last Friday by The U.S. Marshals Service in Camden, New Jersey.

     According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, on Friday, February 9, 2024, Lisandro Gomez, 26, of Camden City, New Jersey was Charged with First Degree Murder; Second Degree Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose; Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Second Degree Certain Persons Not to Possess Weapons. After being Charged, Mr. Gomez was Taken into Custody later in the day in Camden City, New Jersey by Members of The U.S. Marshals Service New York, New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.

     Gomez was Processed on The Charges and was Remanded to The Camden County Correctional Facility pending Future Court Proceedings in Camden County Superior Court.

     The Charges are the result of an investigation that began on November 9, 2023, just shortly before 12:30 p.m., when Members of The Camden County Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call Reporting a Shooting on The 800 Block of North 8th Street in Camden City.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Victor Lebron, 26, of Sicklerville, New Jersey was immediately transported by Police Officers to Cooper University Hospital, where he remained in Critical Condition until November 16, 2023, when he succumbed to his Injury and was pronounced deceased.
