28-Year-Old Man Found Dead Friday Night On A Quiet Union, New Jersey Street

UNION, NJ.- Union County Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 28-year-old man who was found dead late Friday night on a quiet residential street.
According to Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel, during the late night hours of Friday, May 10, 2024, members of the Union Police Department responded to a report of an unresponsive person on the 300 Block of Greenbriar Drive in Union.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, identified as Kerline Joseph Charles, 28, deceased at the scene. Authorities have not reported the cause and the manner of death at this time.
Although the Detectives have determined the death to be an active homicide investigation, they have stated that there is no immediate threat to the public.
