Two Dead, One Hospitalized In Sunday Afternoon D.C. Triple Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC.- The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding an early Sunday afternoon triple shooting that claimed the lives of two men and left another man hospitalized from multiple gunshot wounds.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Sunday, February 16, 2025, shortly after 1:00 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District responded to multiple reports of gunfire on the 4000 Block of Minnesota Avenue in Northeast, D.C.
Police Find Three Men Shot
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man suffering multiple gunshot wounds. Nearby, Police Officers found an additional two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. One of the men, identified as D’andre Williams, 29, of Waldorf, Maryland, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services immediately transported the other two men to a nearby hospital for treatment, where despite life-saving measures, D’ontae Bryant, 24, of Northeast, D.C., succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased. The third shooting victim remains hospitalized and is being treated for his injuries.
The investigation remains active and ongoing as Detectives continue their investigation into the shooting.
