Trenton Man Charged With The Death Of Woman

PLAINSBORO, NJ.- On Wednesday, a 43-year-old Trenton, New Jersey, man with nearly a dozen prior convictions was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with killing a 26-year-old Plainsboro, New Jersey woman, who was reported missing late last month.
According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, on Thursday, January 30, 2025, the Plainsboro Police Department received a call reporting that Victoria Lee, 26, of Plainsboro, was missing. Following receiving the call, members of the Plainsboro Police Department initiated a search for Ms. Lee. Following a nearly month-long search, on February 25, 2025, Detectives of the Plainsboro Police Department tragically found the remains of Ms. Lee.

Investigation Results In Arrest
An investigation led by Officer Daniel Larocca of the Plainsboro Police Department and Detective Stephanie Redline of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office determined that Rahim Johnson, 43, of Trenton, was living with Ms. Lee when she went missing and was the last person to see her alive. Following the investigation and the with the discovery of Ms. Lee’s remains, Detectives found probable cause to charge Johnson with Ms. Lee’s murder.
Accordingly, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Johnson was taken into custody without incident and formally charged with one count of first-degree Murder; third-degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose; and fourth-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
Johnson was processed on the charges and was remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center, pending future court proceedings in Middlesex County Superior Court in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office has filed a motion with the court to detain Johnson pending trial.
