Detectives Searching For Pennsylvania Man Wanted For Sexually Assaulting Preteen Girl

PINE HILL, NJ.- Today, April 22, 2025, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pine Hill Police Chief Christopher Winters are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 22-year-old Pennsylvania, man, who is on the run after being charged in February 2025, with the alleged sexual assaults of a Pine Hill, New Jersey preteen girl.
Shane Hennesy, 22, of Newton Square, Pennsylvania was formally charged on February 20, 2025, with first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; second-degree Sexual Assault; and two counts of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
The charges stem from crimes that Hennesy allegedly committed against a 12-year-old girl in Pine Hill, New Jersey, between December 2024 and January 2025, after the two met over the internet.
Hennesy’s Description
Hennesy is described as a white male with long, shaggy brown hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 6’1″ tall and weighing around 200 pounds. Hennesy may have recently lost weight. Hennesy is known to frequent Newton Square, Pennsylvania as well as Ocean City, Maryland and Newark, Delaware, and can be seen in the photos above.
The United States Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, Camden Division is currently offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to Hennesy’s arrest.
