Man Killed In Saturday Afternoon Shooting In The City Of Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- A 28-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, man became the latest victim of gun violence after he was fatally gunned down late Saturday afternoon in the City of Paterson.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Saturday, March 15, 2025, shortly before 5:30 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Market and Pennington Streets in the City of Paterson.
Police Officers Find Man Shot
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 28-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Police continue the search for the suspect and a motive for the shooting.
